Still air, perhaps a gentle draft…
Nature was a constant source of inspiration for J.F. Oberlin. It is a timeless place of communion between man and spirit. The words and images that it inspires go far beyond mere artistic expression; they play into that intuition that contains “mystery and secrecy, as in all the other phenomena of nature. Everything bears the trace of a creator with infinite invention, wisdom and power.”*
The poems of J.R. Lenz and Marie Scheppler (1896-1980) are an invitation to contemplate this divine natural order.
The photographs of Stéphane Spach illustrate the images that reside in their minds.
